OFFICIAL SOURCES ONLY

Binance Desktop Client

Full platform. Native window. Official sources only.

What is the Binance desktop client?

The native trading application for Windows and macOS.

The Binance desktop client brings the full trading platform into a native window — faster charts, stable connections, keyboard shortcuts, and OS-level notifications. Same account, same balances, same security. Just faster and more reliable than a browser tab.

Where to get it

Two official sources. Nothing else counts.

🏪
Option 1: App Stores (recommended)

The store listing is published by the venue's verified developer account. Updates arrive automatically, and the store verifies the publisher before listing.

🔗
Option 2: Official website

Visit the venue's own website (type the domain directly into your address bar — don't click through search ads or links) and navigate to their desktop app page. The site will link you to the appropriate release for your platform.

✓ Why we recommend the store route

The store verifies the publisher, handles updates automatically, and provides a clean uninstall. You never need to think about whether a file is genuine — the store already checked.

Safety notice

⚠ Read this before you go anywhere else

Only two sources are legitimate for this client:

  • The venue's own official website (typed directly, not clicked from an ad)
  • The Microsoft Store or Mac App Store listing from the verified publisher

Anything else — a search ad, a "mirror site", a forum link, a page offering a "direct setup command" or a pasted script — is not a legitimate source. No real trading venue distributes its desktop client as a terminal command. If a website tells you to "open PowerShell and paste this" to get a trading app, close that website immediately.

Questions people ask

Is the desktop client free?

Yes. The client itself is free to use — you're trading on your own account either way.

Does it replace the web version?

No. Both work simultaneously. The desktop client is an alternative interface to the same account — use whichever fits the moment.

Do I use the same login?

Yes — same email, same password, same 2FA. The client is a window onto your existing account, not a new one.

Is it available on Linux?

The official client covers Windows and macOS. Linux is not currently offered for this venue.
